COVID-19 Update on Manitoba 150

Like so many organizations, Manitoba 150 continues to monitor information about COVID-19. We are committed to following the recommendations of the Government of Manitoba and the Chief Provincial Public Health Officer.

Where Manitoba 150 has provided funding to organizations and communities through initiatives such as Celebrate 150, we support the decision of each organization as to whether their event will proceed and encourage Manitobans to consult the event organizers to find out the status of each project.

In the meantime, while Manitoba 150 staff work remotely, planning continues to celebrate our province’s anniversary including Unite 150, the free outdoor concert planned for June 27, 2020.

We encourage you to stay informed and to follow the necessary guidelines to keep yourself and your loved ones healthy. Here are some links we’ve found helpful:

Manitoba 150 supports the decision of each individual organization to determine whether their event will proceed or not.  Events listings are subject to change, and we encourage Manitobans to consult the event organizers directly to find out the current status of each project.

Manitoba 150 is pleased to provide a complete listing of Manitoba 150 events, including Celebrate 150 funded events. We anticipate a full year of inclusive, celebratory events across the province to commemorate Manitoba’s 150th anniversary.
